Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%. Since opening more than 50 years ago, St. Jude has changed the way the world treats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Its work is supported primarily through public contributions raised by events like this effort by Game On Travel.
Game On Travel
Game On Travel is a premiere college exposure baseball organization, which provides a platform for players to get college exposure and hopefully secure a college opportunity. College recruiting has become very streamlined. Select summer and fall tournaments attract hundreds of college and professional scouts.
Tournament entry fees, travel, hotel, uniform and other expenses can total over $30,000 for a competitive travel team.
